CLINICS WITH JON PITTS - JULY 1st 2017

at Mockbegger Farm, Rhodes Minnis, CT4 6XY

BECOME THE RIDER YOU WANT TO BE........

Jon Pitts - Human Performance Coach and trainer to many top equestrians will be holding a clinic at Mockbegger Farm. The Clinic will be split in to two sessions and you can either do either and/or both.

The morning session will be one to one 45min sessions (or can be in pairs if you know someone who would like to share with you) on improving rider confidence on the flat. Dealing with issues as they arise and learning to control the nerves you may suffer when riding a dressage test. Your session can be tailored to you and your horse. If you havent had a session with Jon before he will guide you through some of the psychology which we have to tackle when riding. The morning session will be held in a 60x20m arena.

The afternoon session will again be one to one 45min session (or again in pairs) for improving confidence and safety for both horse and rider when showjumping and going cross country. This session will be held on grass and will use showjumps but some will be placed on undulating ground to mock up being on the XC course.

For those booking both sessions, a light lunch will be provided and will offer the opportunity for Jon to discuss rider issues.

Morning Session £55 BRC Members £60 Non BRC Members
Afternoon Session £55 BRC Members £60 Non BRC Members
Both Sessions £100 BRC Members £110 Non BRC Members

Are you looking forward to a summer with your horse, but the dream doesn’t quite match the reality??
Confidence really cannot be under estimated, it is the key that unlocks so many opportunities in life and especially where horses are concerned!

Karl and Zana Greenwood run the Centre of Horseback Combat and Rider Confidence Courses at their base near London. They are looking to bring their knowledge and experience to the wider audience through these Rider Confidence Talks, which are entertaining and provide an educational discussion to cut through the noise of media, myth and rumour that surround horses and horse riding and bring a whole new level of enjoyment and certainty to your life with horses.

‘We are constantly reframing our experiences and perceptions, re-assessing our abilities and allowing outside influences to set our limits’ As a  Hypnotherapist specialising in equine sports, Karl can easily explain how this happens and why it happens – but most importantly – we can easily use these traits to our advantage. Entertaining and educational with plenty of tips and strategies for you to take away.

Karl and Zana have worked in live stunt shows for many years with The Stampede Stunt Company, they coach and compete for the British Equestrian Dzhigitovka & Trick Riding Association and they have shown hundreds of riders how to cope with falls, spins and their fears at ‘The Centre of Horseback Combat Rider Confidence Course’

To find out more about Karl go to his facebook page ‘Karl Greenwood’ or ‘Rider Confidence’ or the website www.horsebackcombat.co.uk

We hope you can join us for a memorable evening, surrounded by like minded people with a love for horses!!
