The F.D.R.C. was formed in 1980 and has
progressed from very small beginnings to the
well established Club it is today.
We pride ourselves on being a friendly Club
and if you our Members come along to the
events we organise, either to take part or
to help you will soon make friends among
the other Members.

We have a Club Newsletter which is published  four times a year is a very useful source of Club information. It is traditionally posted to members but now it is available in email format. Back copies can be found on our Newsletter page

The F.D.R.C. run a varied programme of events including Shows, Clinics, Lessons (individual or group) & Fun events for you & your horse or pony and on the social side there are Talks, Social Get-togethers, Rides

We compete in Inter-Club Team Competitions both Area Qualifiers for National Championships and interclub friendly competitions in Dressage, Show Jumping , Combined Training, Horse Trials, Eventers Challenge.
Our ridden teams have, over the years, competed at Wembley, White City , Kent County, Hickstead & Olympia. So as you can see there is a lot of opportunity to compete, improve and have fun.

The end of our year is marked by the Annual General Meeting - this is where we take care of the Club's official business, look back at the past years activities, and give out PRIZES & AWARDS to deserving members.

The BHS Riding Clubs are divided into areas and The Faversham & District come under Area 10.

We are based in and around Faversham and have members from a wide area of East Kent. We are always happy to welcome new Members. If you would like to join the FDRC please go to the Membership page where you will find the different ways you can join our club.

If you would like to learn more about the benefits of joining an affiliated riding club and about the riding clubs movement in general, please taker a look at the BRC website
